I am at the helm since 2014 and I just love the concept of DYT. As an ex seaman and on- and offshore sailor I have salt water running through my veins, which makes me understand the desires and needs of our customers. This is why I have chosen a career in shipping and yacht transportation. I consider myself a hands-on MD with a desire to ‘let go to let my team grow’. When you know me, you don’t expect many words but you know I always have your back and wish you well. Together with my family and dogs I live a countryside lifestyle. We love to travel and to take the boat out.

My journey at DYT, formerly Dockwise Yacht Transport started in 2007 as a Sales Manager. Originally from Jacksonville Florida, I moved to Ft Lauderdale in 2005 and shortly after met my husband. He was the one who introduced me to a company and concept I had never imagined, Dockwise Yacht Transport and moving yachts around the globe. I was so intrigued! Persistence paid off and after a year and half, I started with the company. During my time at DYT, there have been many changes: I witnessed the first ever purpose built yacht carrier being delivered; I got married; welcomed our son and then welcomed our daughter; saw new ownership bring new perspective to an old idea and lastly, be a part of the concept and design of the 2nd ever purpose built yacht carrier. My job is so fulfilling in that every day I get to work side by side with the best colleagues, friends and clients one could ask for. The relationships that have been built over these years are truly a testament to what a great place and team DYT is.

Max, Manager of operations, is also spearheading the companies’ engineering team, constantly looking at ways to improve safety and efficiency for clients and operations as well as working with his team on innovative custom shipping solutions, closely following trends and developments in boat and yacht design techniques. Max knows the shipping world inside out, before joining DYT, he was at sea for over 20 years for various reputable shipowners, of which the last 5 years as Master Mariner on Spliethoff tonnage.

I have been a booking agent for DYT since 2004. In my day-to-day, I do a little bit of everything; sales, voyage preparation, customs filing, liase with agents in port and updating clients from the moment they are booked until they have reached their final destination. The diversity of my job is what I like most because I am involved with every step of the process. My favorite thing to do in my spare time is reading a good book and taking walks. It allows me to relax and regain energy for the next day.

I lived in Amsterdam, Valencia, Antigua and I am now based on Mallorca. Grown up in yachting and have lived on a sail yacht for 2 years when I was 13 years old, sailing through the Caribbean with my parents. My entire career has been linked to yachting, including running two superyachts together with my husband, who was a Captain on a 135ft race yacht. I’m involved in with the Commercial and Operational side of DYT. Helping clients to bring their yacht from A to B, quoting, contracting and keeping the client updated on the progress of the shipment. When our ship is in Palma Port I make sure all paperwork is in order, meet the clients, collect keys and papers. It’s great to be involved with both aspects of the job!

I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and have been working internationally as a stewardess on board various Superyachts for 6 years. I was able to attend the load & discharge of the Yacht Express in Brisbane in 2022 and observe the operations. DYT’s method of yacht transport is unique and very niche. I enjoy interacting with Captains and owners of Superyachts from another perspective and like to help the brand grow in the South Pacific.

I have been with McKay Shipping since the 1^st August 1986 and started with DYT some 10 years later after Team NZ successfully won the America’s Cup back in 1995 and set up for the defense in 2000 in Auckland NZ . With the AC defense came the Super Yachts and J Class yachts on the Dock Express 12. DYT has grown into a world class yacht carrier and I have enjoyed being part of this journey and expanded my knowledge in this very unique submerging concept which draws crowds where ever it goes. Igor’s background as Naval Architect and Marine Engineer with over 25 years of experience in the field, makes him an excellent engineer responsible for the development of suitable transport solutions, improved handling and cradle techniques, as well as technical research and development for the company. Igor worked for Bureau Veritas as a Plan Approval Surveyor for Stability, Machinery and Cargo and before that he earned his credits in yacht building and design as a Lead Naval Architect and Project Manager working for several shipyards.

I started working for DYT back in 2006, sailing onboard MV Dock Express 12. Other yacht carriers followed. Most of the time I worked on the Yacht Express as a chief officer. In 2012 I started doing loadmaster’s work. A year later I completed my seafarer career and switched to the shore based team. I love everything I’m doing; from preparations in the office to completing the final loading process. It is a pretty pressurized job, but by the end it is a feeling of success when I see the ship fully loaded as planned and proceeding to her next destination. After that I fly back home and fulfil all my spare time with my main family – my ladies kingdom: my lovely wife and 2 daughters.

After years of experience at advertising agencies, I overturned the helm in December 2022. I started as a Marketing Communication Specialist at DYT Yacht Transport. I have never worked in one particular medium, instead, I had the luck to savor them all. From offline advertising and events to online activations. I am passionately working with them all. I like to consider myself cool in the face of the fieriest heat: a skill I honed working over the last twenty years in collaboration with the big globals. Yacht Transport is an incredibly intriguing business and I enjoy the various work and the people every day. Besides, I like anything that floats on the water and wooden boats with a sail have my preference. What makes me happy? The sound of splashing water and shimmering when the sun shines on it. In my private life, I am a devoted mother of two beautiful children and a dog.
